Ingredients
400g spaghetti
500g ground beef
1 large onion, finely chopped
400g canned crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup beef stock or water
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chopped onion until translucent.
Add ground beef to the pan, breaking it apart. Cook until browned and season with salt and pepper.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef stock or water. Simmer for 30 mins.
While the sauce simmers, cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain.
Serve the Bolognese sauce over the cooked spaghetti.
